For the last several years, as a part of our PLS for Better program, PLS has proudly partnered with acclaimed children’s author Lowey Bundy Sichol to bring the power of storytelling and entrepreneurship to young minds. Over the years, we’ve donated thousands of books from her “From an IDEA to…” series to elementary schools in Houston, Dallas and Chicago. This year, we continued the tradition.
We’re thrilled to announce that we’re expanding these events to the East Coast! In January 2025, Lowey Bundy Sichol, members of the PLS leadership team, and several local PLS Directors and District Managers traveled to four elementary schools in the Boston area. Together, we engaged with students, shared insights on entrepreneurship, and distributed over 1,000 books – doubling our donations from last year!
Adding to the excitement, several members of the Massachusetts State Senator’s office were in attendance and awarded PLS an Official Citation in recognition of our ongoing commitment to supporting local communities through education and literacy.
